Partnerships

Ideal for small corporations, agencies, and organizations

The Diversity Gap Partnerships are 6-to-9 month coaching and facilitation engagements where Bethaney Wilkinson is your go-to racial equity, DEI, and race-conscious leadership champion. You are a good fit for a partnership if your team:

Is eager to learn, expand, and build your DEI capacity beyond what it is today
Is eager and willing to take responsibility for your own growth and learning
Has a clear sense of what you want to accomplish in your organizational life related to race, diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion
Is aligned with our values of curiosity, reverence, love, storytelling, and transparency

Partnership Process

STEP ONE: A DISCOVERY CALL

We have a 45-minute discovery call through which Bethaney Wilkinson, our founder, will familiarize herself with you, your organization, and your needs. This is also your chance to ask Bethaney any questions you have about her Race Conscious Leadership philosophy and how a partnership will help you reach your goals. We have a discovery call so that we can begin articulating the specifics of what a partnership might look like.

STEP TWO: A PROPOSAL

The Diversity Gap team will send you a proposal outlining what we believe will make for a worthwhile, long-term racial equity building engagement for your organization. It will include details on sessions, timing, expectations, and the cost of investment. We lay out the details on the front end so that we’re all on the same page before we get started. If the proposal is to your liking, we sign it and move on to step four.

STEP THREE: WE GET TO WORK

We set the dates and start working together!

Partnership FAQS

  • It is imperative for potential partners to understand that the work we do together is deep and transformative. It challenges your assumptions. It disrupts business as usual. Our process is anchored in thinking critically about the status quo. Nothing about this is checking a box or giving quick fixes. If you’re not quite ready to revolutionize your leadership, your company, or your industry, a long-term partnership might not be for you. We recommend you consider a keynote or a workshop instead.

  • The minimum financial investment for a partnership is $10,000. This does not include the fee for the keynote or 90-minute executive team coaching session. Those are charged and billed separately.

The minimum time investment is 6 months.

  • We’re open to this possibility! Every so often, we find a partner with whom there’s truly a magical connection. If that turns out to be you, we’d love to explore a contract extension.

Workshops

Ideal for corporations, agencies, and organizations of all sizes

The Diversity Gap offers five workshops, each designed for groups of any size. The format will vary depending on the group size, on whether the workshop is virtual or in-person, and on whether or not breakout sessions are included. We are often able to customize these workshops to accommodate the time and format you have in mind.

Workshop Topics:

  • How to talk about the tough stuff: practices for navigating identity-based conflict in the office

  • Racial identity for everyday people: Understanding the intersections of identity at work

  • Diversity to Equity Framework: getting clear on what you’re chasing and why

  • Culture over everything: 10 must-have values to create an inclusive culture

  • Unpacking the roadblocks: 13 cultural dynamics causing your diversity efforts to fail

Workshop FAQS

  • Bethaney Wilkinson, founder and author of The Diversity Gap, facilitates these workshops.

  • Workshop rates vary depending on the size of the group, on whether the workshop is virtual or in-person, and on how much time you’ve allotted for the experience. When you send us an inquiry, we will follow up with an exact cost.
